We are currently seeking an adaptable, successful, and experienced Sales VP, Greater China, as we increase our market share overseas. In this role, you will be responsible for the success of our expansion into overseeing all aspects of the business. In order to succeed in this position, you need to be highly driven, have a passion to win and establish a successful sales enterprise and build the business from the ground up.
Reporting to the Corporate Global VP of Sales, this person will have the responsibility to manage sales activities for SiFive IP products in China as the first, full-time SiFive sales presence in China.
Responsible to help define the technical needs for successful IP products in China and communicate back to Headquarters what is necessary to succeed in China market with China customer base.
Be Responsible to define the commercial and business model needed to ensure maximum success of design wins and licensing of SiFive IP products in China.
Responsible for managing and developing key customer relationships with China customers. Particularly at the VP level to help ensure success for SiFive in China.
Responsible working with SiFive Corporate Marketing to research and understand the needs of branding, trade show presence, general local marketing activities and other such items – locally in China - to ensure long term success of SiFive in China
Responsible for helping identify key talent in the region that can be recruited to help grow the business and support local China customers, as needed.
Responsible for generating strategic sales plans to ensure success for China customers, working closely with SiFive Product, Sales, Executive and Business Development teams.
Responsible for being the bearer of the SiFive brand in China and uphold the principles embraced by SiFive for excellence, innovation and technology leadership, in China.
Bachelor’s degree, MBA or other relevant fields, strongly preferred.
20 years’ experience working in the Semiconductor or Semiconductor IP field strongly preferred.
5+ years working in the area of microprocessor, GPU or DSP technologies strongly preferred.
10+ years in professional Sales in the technology sector strongly preferred.
15 years' or more experience in international business setting strongly preferred.
Fluent in written and spoken Chinese.
Fluent in written and spoken English. Strong written and communication English skills are preferred.
