Building on the popular first generation SiFive Intelligence™ X280 products’ success in AI/ML applications across mobile, infrastructure and automotive applications. The X390 brings a 4x improvement to vector computation with its single core configuration, with doubled vector length and dual vector ALUs.

 
The Second Generation SiFive® Intelligence™ X390 is an 8-stage dual issue, in-order, superscalar processor with dual vector processing units (1024-bit VLEN/512-bit DLEN). It is scalable up to a 4-core cache-coherent complex with optional VCIX for close coupling with customer-designed external AI accelerators or other coprocessors.

  • Vector Coprocessor Interface eXtensions (VCIX) allowing custom vector instructions to be executed on the accelerator at high bandwidth from the vector pipeline
