P800-Series

P870-D: Maximum Performance

The highest performance P870-D is targeted for datacenter applications which benefit from parallelism, including storage, web servers and video streaming. The P870-D can be used standalone or in conjunction with a member of the SiFive Intelligence Processor Family.

P870-D is fully compliant with the RVA23 RISC‑V Instruction Profile. It incorporates a shared cluster cache enabling up to -32 cores to be connected coherently. Use of a CHI bridge expands this to 256 CPU coherent cores, connected either in an SoC or as a set of discrete chiplets.

P870/P870-A: Highest Performance for Consumer Applications

The highest performance RISC-V core is ideal for consumer applications or used in conjunction with a vector processor in the datacenter. The P870 sets an impressive, new RISC-V performance bar across instruction availability, throughput, parallelism and memory bandwidth. 

Bringing a 50% peak single thread performance upgrade (specINT2k6) over the previous generation Performance processors, the P870 is a 6-wide, out-of-order core, meeting RVA 23, with a shared cluster cache enabling up to a 32-core cluster. High execution throughput comes with more instruction sets per cycle, more ALU and more branch units.

For Automotive applications, the P870-A is designed to meet the specific needs of manufacturers.
